Exciting new SKS Picatinny Scope rail

To the people stating that it would be hard to load- Have you ever used (or heard of) blind magazines? You can have a scope on them....

This. Its not that CanAm is being vague, its that there really isn't much to explain, you take a round and push it into the mag, just like every other magazine.

Yes, but not all mags come with a rail on top. I normally push the round straight down from the top but now there's a rail there, meaning that the round will have to go in somewhat from the side. Or am I missing something?

That has "why didn't I think of that" written all over it.

There is only one hitch though....SKS = $200 , Piece of aluminum for a scope = $129 . Seems a bit steep don't you think?

I'll wait for the test reports to come in. If it holds zero, and does not require any drilling. grinding or filling, I will look hard at getting one if the price is reasonable. Looks like it also doubles as deflector?

I wish I could still have the irons up with this installed...much more durable and less prone to fail then a scope. lack of being able to "charge" it with stripper clips also suck...

Solid project, looks good and should work great...best suited to guys who want to hunt with it or use a scope on their SKS to test loads/bench the gun.

I would pay more if they could add an integrated rear sight like tech sight or similar for SKS come together combo with the rail.

That looks really cool!

I'd be interested in one made of steel too.

BTW, what does it look like closed?
