Great. They had been pulled last week.
FWIW the ERE rifles (non restricted) are not Tactical Import rifles they are being produced for ERE Systems Inc and we have spoken for the first shipment due this fall.

Interesting, so then TI's FRT's may have been pulled, because I'm only seeing the ERE rifles, but assumed they were for TI since they're manufactured by FAMAE and should be identical rifles, no?

No, these are the only FRT's I have seen. ERE submitted rifles for examination in February and the FRT's were issued earlier in June. Then pulled again because apparently another physical inspection was required. I can't speak for TI and have no idea if they have rifles being examined. ERE has told me that there production run is proprietary.

so the FRT IS there?

dont take this the wrong way shooting centre, but why are you so interested in the FRT#'s of firearms other companies are bringing in?
I put my preorder with TI for SG-542 and if this turns into another swiss arms C/A debacle...

I just received an email form TI confirming that their FRT # for the SG542 is good and still listed. I didn't ask about the other versions but I would assume they are also fine.

I am not sure what you are asking? CSC is buying ERE's production run. Obviously we can only import if the FRT exists. When I check the FRT's on line only ERE's product is shown. If TI gets another FRT issued for their own products that is great. I am only pointing out that I don't see it.

I'm curious to know why CSC is posting about their product (ERE firearms) in a FAMEA SG thread which clearly is being brought in by a competing CGN business member, and commenting on an FRT that they aren't 100% sure exist or not?

Are the ERE produced on behalf of FAMEA as a sub-contractor?

I am not sure what you are asking.
This is a Black rifle thread and not in the sponsor section.
I can and have checked the FRT's on line and am telling you what is there.
ERE is a distributor for FAMAE, they have asked FAMAE to produce a line of guns called "ERE Tactical Elite". FRT's have been issued for these guns.
If I missed something let me know.

Funny how they say "I am not sure what you are asking" when we point that out.
They know exactly what were asking and what they're doing in this thread....

Well I guess you will find this hilarious then but I have no idea what you are implying. And again this is the black rifle section not a dealer section.

It makes some more sense knowing that ERE is only a distributor and not a manufacturer on behalf of FAMAE. The way it sounded at first is that you CSC had an inside scoop and line in on FAMAE manufactured rifles that were now available before TI's FAMAE rifles (notwithstanding the fact that the FRT had supposedly been pulled)

TI has mentioned in his dealer section that these are in the database under FAMAE. Perhaps you're looking for them under SG-542 / SG-540?

Also, I wasn't aware that FRTs were issued to distributors (in your case, ERE), but only to actual manufacturers. So saying that an FRT has been issued to your "ERE rifles" in fact tells me that there are FRT for the "mother" firearm, i.e. the FAMAE no?

I am looking under FAMAE in the FRT. The only non prohibited rifles are listed as "SG54x-1 ERE Tactical Elite". They were made by FAMAE for ERE (their distributor), who then submitted them for examination. This does not mean that TI cannot get FRT's issued for other rifles in the same family. I am only pointing out that it has not happened yet and that contrary to their claims TI is not the exclusive distributor of the FAMAE products.
For those that find all this annoying or unreasonable I don't know what to say. ERE has spent a pile of money working on the project and has a solid track record dealing with FAMAE and selling their products around the world. Only due to the high volumes that ERE deals in has FAMAE allowed a change in production details to allow for the non restricted length barrels.
