Hello all. Lever Arms in Vancouver is selling a sniper SVT. Is it original or a made up piece? Here is the link to the page:

Photos are very small. But I think that this is original sniper rifle - number is less than 2000, prefix can be НБ, ПБ, CБ all of them are correct sniper prefixes.
Maybe somebody can call them and ask?
Recently they have another sniper, original, НЖ140, I add it to the list
Was the reason for plum bolt, to reduce or remove possible reflection on the rifle? Or was it something else?
I don't think that this was the reason. This was done also with regular rifles
Marstar is also selling several sniper rifles from Tula and Ishevsk for half the price.

It looks that those rifles are not sniper, just have rails
