I had to pound one out with a cleaning rod and hammer, does that count? Didn't chamber nicely, then didn't fire, and when I used the cleaning rod to try and force it out the cleaning rod snapped, I ended up hitting what was left with a hammer to get it out. Treated it like an SKS, lol. My only problems have been with CCI standard velocity, are they a touch bigger or something? The Lapua and Ely chambered really nicely in comparison. The few Green Tag I had left to try were fine, just seemed to be the SV?
Ohh,
Unfired CCI? Well that would be brutal due to the leads engagement in the lands.
That whole episode was bad. The rounds had to be chambered firmly, and then one didn't fire, and of course wouldn't eject. Don't understand what exactly was going on, but a light tap on the broken off cleaning rod and it popped right out. Got a couple scuff marks on my fingers, seemed to be the only damage to anything. Guess I better get a one piece cleaning rod to replace my brass segmented one, which is a complete fail according to the cleaning gurus in other threads.
Sorry, shipping would cost too much, lol. And I'm having waayy too much fun! And I haven't even done any mods on her yet. Your bling looks sharp, by the way.
Father, that bling looks sharp!
Oh, that makes sense, I never realized they could be made differently. I'll have to pick up some calipers and check that out. And what effect does this end up having on accuracy, if one round is seated deeper than another?
