*EDITED TITLE, realized I had a angry face for some reason and no title*
I received my pistol today
It came with zombie targets, some CanAm targets, an issue of Calibre, and a m16 pen

Fantastic and unexpected.
The service was great from CanAm as well.
Now on to the bad part....
It seems the slide is contacting the frame only on one side of the pistol. I noticed it out of the box because the slide had markings on it looking like the chrome didnt dry properly or was touched up.
I gave the gun a wipe down, and racked the slide a few times which showed it was definitely contacting the frame.
I do not think it will affect the functionality, but it is disappointing to have finish issues on a brand new gun which has never been fired, no less straight out of the box. On to some pictures....
One other big thing from this review... the trigger... my god is it stiff/heavy pull. I have another norinco 1911 gov't model from about 4 years ago, and it was never that stiff/heavy.
Hopefully some rounds downrange will work it in a little.
Great service again from CanAm, and not like they could see any type of finish defect like this through a plastic bag with an oil soaked gun, but disappointing to have blemishes like this on a brand new gun.
Based off this inital inspection, would I buy again, most definitely I would. I will try to post back with a range report if I manage to get out, but I think that is likely 3 weeks away.
Cheers!
And thanks to CanAm for bringing in great products at great prices!
