#¿(© you kimber costumer service

Second time in 2 years kimber has faild to care about canadian sales ..... First time was last year 2011. My kimber .22 kit was way out of spec from the factory so basically kimber said you're from canada nothing we can do .... Now fast forward to today kimber said our product is not to leave the US we dont need canadian sales .. I was ordering a sight tool not even a fire arm and they said that to me ... Well screw you kimber I am now going to bash there pile of crap company to no end ... Not for sale to Canadians no one here should spend a dime on a kimber item and lets see if they need canadian sales or not .... I am so mad that Bitc# said that I will never even look at a junk kimber again . If kimber is not for sale in camada why the hell can I find one at every dealer here ..... Any one know a canadian rep i can speak to about this ?

She basically said go F myself in a nice way .... Agree kimber is crap way better stuff out there where you wont get a slap in the chops if it brakes

I went through three Kimber customer service reps and still was told to pound sand..I told them for the $1500 I paid for an Eclipse Target ll,I should not have to put up with rust on the sights.I told them it was stored in the same climate/humidity area as my other firearms..Like you said,,When they find out your from Canada.....

When I was shopping for my 1911 I was considering kimber Springfield and colt.

At the time I kept reading about the faulty QC from kimber and as much as I don't want to take forum chatter as gospel it was enough that I wouldn't buy a kimber or a para for any 1911. With customer service stories like this well it seals the deal for kimber.

:sok2I hope they're not crap. From most I've talked to that have or have had them, I haven't heard anything but good. So, with what I've heard, when the opportunity presented itself, I picked up a Super Match II.

As I've only fairly recently obtained it, I haven't really put it through its paces yet but plan to do so, once the festive season is over and the weather improves a little. Of the 1911s and 1911 look a likes that I've had, this one has the sweetest trigger of them all. Also, I've seen nothing to indicate that the quality and workmanship is anything but top drawer.

I did have some inquiries concerning this Kimber and called to them at Kalispell Montana. I found them more than willing to help and advise.

Depending on who you talk to. I guarantee I can create a poll which will have Norinco as the best and most reliable pistol available.

Was it that they wanted you to contact their Canadian reps at "Korth Group Okotoks Alberta Phone: 403-938-3255" ?
I've been told off by US companies and in reality they want you to deal with their Canadian representatives....
Just a thought.

@john Peterson.

That's a different story.

Custom shop guns/ top tier guns from them as far as I can tell have a spotless record.

A lot if not all of the problems arises from the entry level guns.

But most of us aren't "ballers" and as such can't afford "custom shop" guns.

A couple of important differences need to be noted.

--A Norc 1911 from Marstar of CanAm will run about $350, while a Kimber will start at about triple that and go up from there.

--I havent had an issue yet with my 1911 from Marstar, but if I do, I expect some sort of customer care.

I dont even want a damn pistol just a tool and she said no way we don't export any kimber product to canada we don't want our product out of the US

Then why the hell are they all over the wall of every Wholesale Sports?
She is a stupid wh0re.

Me either. I'm a fixed income retired guy. During a shopping trip at the 'candy' store in Naniamo (WSS) I looked at one, a rung or two down the ladder from the one I have and was dazzled by the price tag. When the Super Match II was offered and after taking a good look at it, to me it appeared to be decent + quality, and price wise,;) in the ball park so I went for it:D. Part of my call to Kimber in Kalispell was a price inquiry. I thought what I had just purchased was a pretty good deal but I didn't realise just how good. The guy I chatted with may well have been blowing a bit of smoke but he said, "You didn't get a good deal, you stole it"!!

Iirc and I believe I do. I remember your original post about that particular gun and you made out like a bandit.

Started googling kimber customer service and well it's more of the same even from Americans.

What struck me was a comment from a gun dealer in northern Florida. He had placed an order with the distributor for one model and it was out of stock. He recieved the backorder a while later, and opened up the box to find not one but two guns already rusting. He called the distributor, and was directed to Kimber.

The gun hadn't been at the distributor for more than a few days since being shipped from Kimber, and they attributed the rust to the time in storage.....

Kimber, Colt, Savage etc., what's the difference. Their customer service/warranty is all bad. Seems like as soon as you mention Canada, you're basically on your own.
