Thought it about time I posted this one. A 1968 mfg Colt Government 1911A1 .45ACP that I've owned for many years.

Yes, I have the proper factory grips for it, too. Unfortunately, it came with the "noob scratch" when I bought it back in the day.....

Latest look... The ergo grips will do until I find the time to have some G10 grips made. Around 1500 rounds through it now and it's a keeper, altough I have some issues with Wolf reloads in it. (PMC works great though, go figure)

That Gov't made my knees knock when I saw it. Beautiful. I would love to find some grips like that.

My Spartan, flash made the VZ grips look wayy lighter then they are normally, added a strip of grip tape on the front strap for even more texture... it almost sucks your hand right onto it.
