Here are my 2 1911's the one with red grips is a s.a.m. 9mm and the one with silver grips is my .45

I decided that the .45 looked a bit plane to me and I have been practicing my airbrushing skills and came out with this

It's a Guncrafter CCO with no name. I just switched the grips to slimline alumagrips which feel way better then the originals. Here's how it looked before. The original grips were just too thick for my hands.

Thats what I thought it was but you dont see them this side of the border much. Did you import it yourself? Shredders look awesome on there!

I had IRUNGUNS bring it in. I've only had it to the range once so far but I hope to get it out this weekend. I like the texture of the shredders but they're just really thick for me. With the coarse checkering on the frontstrap I figured I could get away with the smooth alumagrips and still get a good solid hold on it while not "shredding" my waist when it's in an iwb holster.

The Colt I purchased in Canada,the Springfield was $1600.00 all in(Import cost,GST,Shipping ect was $312.00 of that)

Saw a NIB Colt O1980RG yesterday on GunBroker w/ Buy It Now of $1299.00,calculated it would have been $1645.00 to get it here,it Sold not long after I saw it,didnt really need another one,but I thought about it
The Springfield is pretty hefty,but must say the Slide/Frame fit is excellent and everything feels really good on it
Got a crate of 45acp from CanadaAmmo and Spring is finally arriving up here,cant wait to shoot them
