Not sure yet, spring fever has me wanting to buy a blacked out Mercury Marauder. Maybe GVT MDL for that one if I find one and the missus eases up on her hate for "old man cars."

Here's my 1911 family so far. Colt Delta Elite 10mm, STI Trojan 6" 9mm, Colt Hold Cup Trophy .45 acp, LAR Grizzly .45 Win Mag.

Now all I need is a Lew Horton Night Commander, a Coonan .357 and an IAI Javelina 7" Hunting Model and I'll be happy.

Looks wise, hard to say - I love them all uniquely. With the thin rubber grips, trigger job, and short trigger the Remington is the best shooter. It also has the smoothest action of the bunch - it's also my first 1911 I bought a year ago. I just got the Ruger so it is still breaking in. The Colt is my beauty queen with the new grips but I am not a fan of spur hammer and target rear sight. National Match trigger group sucks too.

What kind of finish is on your frame? Is it the same as the flag?

hey, I'm looking at painting my Norinco 1911 any recommendations on doing it? I was just going to spray it and maybe bake it in the oven for a bit to harden the paint.

Doesn't make much sense to put a canadian flag on a chinese gun if you ask me. I like the rest of it though.
