Bottom two groups and centre group were 77gr Berger OTM. All groups were CFE 223, bottom left was 24gr. I did make another attempt using 77gr SMKs but all groups were above 1moa. I'm going to give the sierra's another attempt maybe Thursday, wind picked up to 30-40kmhr when I shot them,
I've got probably 4-500 of the 77gr SMKs laying around so I'm going to try varget with them. I may have to try the 69gr as well. A little bit of googling seems to turn up what you said, most people seem to have better luck with the 69gr in an AR. Although it may be hard to improve on what the Berger bullets have been doing in my AR.
Looking forward to seeing your results with those two fine firearms Mikethebike, especially that ACR.

Well I thought I would see how I could do. I think I am going to have to print a target or 2 to try out. The rifle was much better that me today. Bad wind started from right to left (from the west) once I got started.
Actually surprised me that the AERO build would do this well. Only the centre circle is one inch. I need to buy a set of calipers for my range bag.

Next day off I am going back when the weather is good with a couple of the printed targets and a set of calipers and a sharpie. I was having issues with the trigger on my other AR and I was expecting better from that one. This one surprised me. But the ADCOR was doing great until the trigger kept hanging (disconnect spring) up on me. Even with an EOTech and magnifier it was doing very well.
Key is always holding the same point of aim even if you think you pulled one. Also waiting to release the trigger. I did that last 2 groupings too quickly after the 3rd (middle one) and the barrel was warm. Wife wanted to leave because of the wind. But the biggest surprise for me was the Aero barrel and steal cased ammo. I have always liked this anmo but I wasn't exerting this much out it.

Well that rifle and ammo. combo looks very promising, to bad you aren't allowed to discount your one worst shot because the four best of each group look like they would all pass for MOA or better.
All you will likely need is another go on a better day (less wind) with that combo, so good effort Sapper043 and please do try again.

You can use OnTarget to check your group size if you take a picture (perfectly square for more accuracy) or preferably scanned.

Yeah, looks pretty close but the pic was taken at an angle so couldn't use OnTarget on it.
