What was to problem with the Rhinelands?

10% or more of the ones imported into Canada had serious problems. The owner of Rhineland made a lot of promises, but when he did keep them, it was weeks or months later than promised. Some were completely left hanging.

Mine works perfectly, but I've had to replace the stock.

I gotta say Im as intrigued as most posters here, but I will wait a while after release to hear peoples reviews... and hopefully after a year or so maybe the price will come down a bit too :p

What's the price? So far nobody has said anything! Personally, if the gun sells for $300, I really don't see the point in waiting for the price to come down. It's not likely going to get any lower.

Can we really say how much we will pay for it before they are sold to the public and have some rd's down the pipe? What if its as reliable as an ar-7... surely no one's hardly going to buy it. If it works like a swiss watch and shows similar craftsmanship, they could sell near the $1k mark. But if its similar quality/construction to the walter p22.... there is no way I would buy it for even $500. Sadly I suspect this may be the case.

i gave bluelinesports a call yesterday
they say it is currently for LE order only and they are working to get it approved for civilian sale (not sure if it means it is currently a prohib)
they also quote me around 6~700 for the price when it is open for public purchase
they said they are trying to have it done before the end of january

Yes, but most rifles etc are bought by the PD, and since they already have them, how would spending another 500-700 be a good thing? It offers no same recoil (im guessing), Its like practicing to shoot a 45 with a .22, may improve trigger control, but other than that its a different ball game.

Hmm So we're looking at late January before we even hear anything Im guessing... I can wait. :D
