LOL!! If liberals had it their way, slingshots would be outlawed, at least registered. The firearms industry are manufacting crap guns and different cartridges, not better. The same applies with this, "going to schitt-hole country," importing different people, instead of better.

Yes, so many more calibers, so many more types of ammo, too much to comprehensively stock, so ammo shortages They may be funding these projects.

And exporting all our resources instead of transforming and selling here…. But that wasn’t better under the conservative unfortunately.
It’s been a month now hat we are bellow -25c up here and a lot of days bellow -40c so hopefully some will fockoff elsewhere!

270win - if you use Norma brass, you'll get the same case capacity as the 25RPM and a better expansion ratio.

280rem improves on that.

280AI improves on that again

The Sherman line of improved cartridges improve on that yet again, providing a turnkey solution - Headstamped brass + MATCHING reamer and dies to said brass.

Makes me wonder what is more profitable for Weathery - the ammo or the guns?

I haven't heard how this cartridge performs with reloaded ammunition. I'll save my opinion till I know how it performs, not by assumptions. If it's close to 257 bee performance there will be no complaints. BTW does anyone know what the case capacity is compared to the weatherby.

Nothing new under the sun unfortunately or at least in field conditions (hunting), on paper that is an entire different story and I’m sure in competitions it might gives you an edge maybe… maybe not…
Anyway, I can’t afford to play the game of jumping g on the bandwagon of the novelty. Would I do if I had u limited funds probably not cause my thing would be nice wood deep blue classic cartridges in funky firearms like vierling, doubles, combination, straight pull etc and for my need 30-06, 9.3x62, 458 win mag oh and 22lr does just fine…

24" 270win shooting 117gr Hammer Hunter at 3467fps (pressure at 3552fps)

24" 280rem shooting 120gr Hammer Hunter 3415fps (pressure at 3497fps)

Heck, my buddy's 22" 6.5CM shoots 99gr Hammer Hunter at 3390fps

That's off an Oehler at 15ish feet from the muzzle, so actual MV is even a hint faster

I've found the Nosler data to be fairly realistic;

BTW does anyone know what the case capacity is compared to the weatherby.

An empty 25 RPM case filled to the brim contains right about 10gr less H²0 than a 257wby

You should see the velocities and accuracy from my 240 weatherby, it makes my 270 look lethargic

So you need to compare it to 130-140gr bullets going 3k fps in a 270 lol

Fine guys, I give in!

For individuals looking to shoot 1000yd with factory ammo and minimal recoil the 25RPM will be a meaningful step up from the 25Creedmoor

(I maintain that discerning reloaders will still go 25-284 or 25-6.5PRC for superior brass quality and availability.)

27" barrel?

Of course a 27" barrel, all of my custom rifles have that barrel length. Custom rifles, with long barrels cause very accurate, hyper velocity bullets.............I'm addicted. My 25-06 build will have the 27" barrel as well..............men, such as my son and I, don't mind carring a heavy gun.
