With the new UN rulings, they may stay in the US forever. Looks like Clinton and Obama are working in the shadowy hallways of the UN, to undermine US rights and stop all imports/exports of 7.62x51 ammunition and firearms, as well as a few others like 50BMG.

There won't be any problem, with rifles in the US but international import and export will be banned. Some of the dealers down there, like BDL (Brian ####) are more than a bit upset about the crimp this will make in their business.

Can someone with a bit more knowledge can clarify this?

Thx

I just got a Lee Enfield "7.62 Blank Only" 1943 Long Branch with a Sterling Mag. Ser# 25L2332

FTR'd in the 50's.

Brass buttplate. Looks to be Canadian Furniture. C-> marked

Very Strange. Seems to me the bore is still .311-.312

Heard of anything like it?

Our club is selling off some rifles, one of the #4's is a DCRA conversion. Not very original at this point, although it has spent most of it's life living at Connaught. As memory serves it might be 499 but I can confirm that if anyone is interested. I will post them for sale on the EE when I get a chance, that could be weeks. There are two LB and two Brit and some Sportco's as well, all 7.62. One of the #4's is marked Regulated by Fulton although that does not get me too excited.

Here is a rarity for the DCRA conversion rifle, although at one time they were as common as the rifles. I got this tag off a new unfired barreled receiver a bunch of years back. The rifle ended up in the Ottawa area I believe. Rifle conversion number was 1320

StenCollector, thank you so much on the data, as well I have a friend who bought a few DCRA's in the grease, just got to find out they are 7.62mm converts or not, I'll update soon.

My 1955 Long Branch Target rifle is DCRA conversion # 1022.

Also, here is the tag that went with a DCRA conversion.(same as Stencollector's)
