7.62x39 rifles?

I would also be interested in a 7.62x39 bolt gun. Ideally I'd like to see one with a 16 to 20" bbl, rifle sights and drilled and tapped for scope bases. I'd drop up to $500 happily.

Wait a second guys.

Are we talking about a Zastava M85 AK style in 7.62 x 39 !??
If that is the case, I transfert the funds TONIGHT !!

Where do I sign !!

No, not ak style, bolt action mini mauser

EDIT: I guess looking closer at the website it's technically the "LK M85", you're right that the M85 is an AK looking semi

I need to move a Cz527 in 7.62x39 to make room in my safe. Awesome rifle like anyother Cz.
I like my 858 but that is a semi.
It is too bad that more rifles were not made in this caliber. Handy round.

My AIA Enfield in 7.62x39 is so sweet to shoot I now want a light short barred bolt action hunting rifle in 7.62x39 (12 inch barrel NR super light hunting rifle is on my wish list )

I'm interested in a bolt action rifle in 7.62x39 as well, for what it's worth. I don't want to pay $700-$800 either, not interested in the CZ or Ruger.

I can imagine CANAM probably hates people constantly asking the same thing over and over again, but for the sake of being excited if they can get these rifles...
Any updates on availability? Can they be brought in before christmas(wishful thinking and probably nowhere near realistic), next year?

Hasn't been a problem for me. I have a Savage 10 FCN Scout in 762x39 that I've been using milsurp ammo in - the .308 bore diameter doesn't seem to cause any problems at all. No pressure signs, easy extraction, some batches even give decent accuracy. The Romanian steel cased stuff that's around right now seems to shoot around 1 1/2 MOA on a good day.

Bill

where did you get your rifle from

There's definitely interest in mid priced 7.62x39 boltguns. So much so I bought and tried every brand out there and then built my own Rem 700/788 and various Mausers in it.
I still own the original Ruger M77MkII, a CZ527[wife's], sold the Rem 799[Zastava-Didn't like the extra small bolt handle] sold the Norinco JW because I wasn't impressed with accuracy or quality. The best factory models are the CZ and Ruger. Both shoot anything very accurately and are well made.
Of course my custom 7.62x39 will outshoot the factory guns and yes they have .308 bores and no pressure signs whatsoever.
Haven't tried the Savage yet, but I'm sure it shoots fine.

Problem is like you many have the same idea, and the CZ option is pretty damn pricey for a gun that's gonna see only corrosive surplus.

What a load of CRAP! Lots of non-corrosive ammo on the market that makes this round super cheap to shoot! I own the CZ527 and love it. I also load my own rounds for this rifle.
