Please let us know how your new Savage scout shoots the surplus ammunition. I'm curious to see how the smaller bore of the Savage performs vs the CZ.
Savage 10 FCM Scout w/2-7x32 LER scope and bipod
The Ammo left to right, MFS 123 FMJ, S&B Czech Surplus '1990', Chinese Surplus '1967'
The Targets: 25m bench off bi-pod 3 shot groups
MFS iron sight 25m
MFS Scope 7x 25m
Czech Scope 7x 25m
Chinese Scope 7x 25m
The Targets: 100m bench off bi-pod 3 shot groups 'bottom left is irons, couldnt even see the red target behind the post' middle target is from buddy's .223
MFS Scope 7x 100m 'that's not a flier its a bad shooter ie me'
Czech Scope 7x 100m 'again shooter error not a flier'
Chinese 7x 100m I'm happy with this group
I think with Rifle targets to index the crosshairs on, or glass good enough to pick a repeatable spot this could easily be MOA with surplus 'even with me shooting', my local shop
only had the MFS in and had yet to get in hunting ammo or I would have tried it also.
