7.62x39 rifles?

Yes they do and it is $800.00! Why cant they do a axis version scope package and sell around $300 - $400.Just a reliable bolt gun for a great price.I see they make the axis in most calibers known to man and a few I have never heard of but no 7.62X39. I think the North Koreans may have something to do with this!

I would get the axis in a heart beat...If only I had a lot of money i'd spend it on robinson arms 7.62x39 with 10 round lar mag :D

I have savage 10 fcp scout in the mail, and 1200 Czech rnds from Canam to go with it; a shame I didn't know they were getting the CZ but then I have 2 other savage rifles already...

I once had a mcace chamber adapter for shooting 7.62x39 in a 303 and it lasted about 200rds before it would no longer chamber in the 303 rifle.

Here's the cheapest way to get a 7.62x39 bolt gun.

Buy the blued .308 axis with scope for $329 on sale then order the mcace chamber adapter for $35 or so shipped. Presto. You have a scoped 7.62x39 bolt gun for $365

I should demand a royalty from Savage for this.

Collecting cans on the side of the road and buying an off the shelf gun would be better and faster then dealing with Ace!

I just bought the last CZ 527 in 7.62x39 from CA on the Sharkanado deal. One nice gun. And don't forget it has a .311 barrel where all the american guns are .308. So it is perfect for pounding out the milsurp ammo and way easier to clean then a CZ858 or a M4. Isn't all the milsurp ammo slightly corrosive??? So you should clean your guns every shoot!!!!

Would really like to try the enfield or mauser thow in x39

Please let us know how your new Savage scout shoots the surplus ammunition. I'm curious to see how the smaller bore of the Savage performs vs the CZ.

I think with Rifle targets to index the crosshairs on, or glass good enough to pick a repeatable spot this could easily be MOA with surplus 'even with me shooting', my local shop
only had the MFS in and had yet to get in hunting ammo or I would have tried it also.

Good shooting Irish Crow. I have found that the 7.62X51 Norinco surplus ammo is inconsistant. So the 7.62x39 will be the same. Ruger confirmed this. Nutnfancy under continuos fire could only get 2 and a flyer. I have duplicated this!!! To get MOA at distance with a hot barrel you will need a better gun, scope and ammo. (200-600 yds.) Hunting 1 or 2 shots differant deal!!! But it is lots of fun trying with the lower $$ rig!!!!!!
