I don't really blame the natives for using the law to their advantage just as we did to screw them had we dealt fairly in the first place then maybe our own laws and words wouldn't be biting us in the ass. What our people promised in the past is what we have to follow through with. Laws flow both ways not only telling you what you get but what you need to do. I have house the bank loaned me the money if I don't pay them back I'm out on my ass it's not my house till I follow through with what I agreed to do for it. Last year my wife and I both lost our jobs house still had to be paid as did the car. Both legal and moral I was responsible for those debts just as I am responsible for the promises made to buy this land. It's not the natives fault our people made promises they had no intent on keeping.
Fine, so let's honor the treaties exactly as written.Give them exactly what is written in the treaties, and if it isn't specifically mentioned in the treaty, then they don't get it. Give them the land, Let them supply their own education, their own health care, their own roads, their own fire department etc. If they want these essential services, then let them pay taxes on their land like everyone else does. Fair is fair.
