You sound like a friend of mine who asked one of the silliest questions I've ever heard about the new runs of T81: "What kind of metal is it made out of?"

You think they would re-tool and change their production line to purposely give us a downgraded quality rifle? Sure it China, anything is possible but I am putting my money where my mouth is and bought one before they are $2800 on GP in 4 weeks.

I would say it’s more reliable with higher quality parts. I sold my SE because the quality was lacking. This one looks way better fit and finish and higher quality. I am also expecting improved accuracy. I agree with TI when they say this is the best Type 81 ever made.

Its a heavy barrel can shoot 15k rounds without parts breaking, more reliable than raven and m10x...

This. Sold off all of my x39 stock after I sold my SE and SKS. I swore I'd stick with 556 from now on and then these come out. Guess I have to re-stock.

But you can mod a yugo version easily enough to fit if you have a dremel
