Same ish, I think I ordered the day before you. I did expect a wait but nothing prepares you for the mundane waiting for signs of life. This is a lot like gardening only my garlic is growing faster than the status of my order.

I'll do you one better. RCMP transfer notice on March 28, and still no shipping notice. And no, it didn't land in the junk folder haha. I originally told myself I'd be ok with about 3 weeks from order to delivery, looks like it will be 4 at least. Getting cranky haha

I have been using this time to get any accessories and parts ordered up and ready. We just got 20cm of snow so my garden, just like my order is frozen and showing no signs of life

1/2 hour with 220 sandpaper and finished with 400 grit

I missed a few tiny spots of original finish and it wouldn’t take the stain in those spots and had to go back

Stained with many coats Birch wood Casey walnut stain - gives a nice brown red - highly recommend for garand and Lee Enfield stocks - can be purchased on Amazon

Let dry

Finished with multiple coats of boiled linseed oil and once dried rubbed in caranuba wax

That 4mm spec works out to .482 degrees and youd be surprised how precise the human eye actually is. You can EASILY spot fractions of a degree! Thats how humans are able to use irons out to a 1000 plus yrds.

so you'd shoot at an ipsc target at 100 yards centre mass and not even impact it if your barrel is misaligned that much? That's wild.

Received my fixed model this morning. Ordered release day, the delays were the fault of CP not TI. My rifle is straight as an arrow! Very greasy out of the box (was expected). There are some minor finish blemishes but I don't really mind because I plan to beat the piss out of this rifle anyways and it will pick up some dings along the way. Overall I'm very impressed! Thanks again TI.
 
Hey everyone, I finally got an rcmp email after ordering 3 weeks ago, do I need to do anything with it?

Also it sounds like I'm probably a ways away from getting a shipping notice, what are the chances I can add a slant compensator to my order and not delay shipping, idk how easy it would be. Thanks

I got my transfer notice March 28 and it's still not shipped. Could have picked up an UF for the same price I paid off of GP on 4 separate occasions by now. Getting a little cranky, but when I ordered it I estimated I'd get it in 3-4 weeks, so I'm still on track for that timeline haha
