Hopfully Sako start rolling out additional model 90s soon, the launch options don't do much for me.
does anyone with a floor plate Sako wish they had a removeable clip ?
Yes. That's the only thing I don't like about mine. More than once I've had to hop out of a truck/ATV and frantically load rounds into it.
That's road hunting for you
would rather have something a bit more solid these days, my long hikes in are dwindling and am looking at the classic wood stocks, this post has been invaluable for that!!!
What would the ideal one for you be?
A few that I thought stood out in the 85 line.
1. Grey laminate and stainless (grey wolf)
2. Kodiak (same as above with shorter barrel and iron sights)
3. Brown Bear/Grizzly models with big bore cartridge options.
So mostly models with bears in their name haha.

Yups , Finnbear , AV
is it really true , that the Sako is better all round
than the win model 70
I think so
Not sure I'd go as far as to say that.
Thanks BR! Rear sight windage adjustable front sight elevation adjustable. Sure is a nice handling rifle.
