Any 22 LR recommend?

If you want something different then the Ruger 10/22 a Henry lever action is a fun one to go shooting with.

I'll chime in as I haven't seen it posted in the replies. I've had and friends have had the 10/22s and I find they leave you hanging often with a misfire or jamming etc.. but last year I switched to the Winchester Wildcat .22lr semi auto and I'm around 2000 rounds through it and it has been an absolutely fantastic semi auto option. I use it for plinking and small game hunting and it has been deadly accurate and 100% reliable. Of those 2000 rounds I have not had a single jam (mostly using wildcat magazines but I do have 2 regular 10/22 magazines I also use with it without issue) and the only misfires I've had were after cleaning and not reinstalling the spring pin correctly which was entirely my fault and a quick and easy fix while at the range. I would recommend the Wildcat as a semi auto option for sure.

I trust your ready for a thorough flaming! It’s a given it will follow. Just blow it off and carry on, it’s all good. If your really interested in a quality rimfire it will be dependent on your budget but a new or used Anschutz will put a smile on your face!!

Well occasionally new members get jumped for posting in old threads or starting a new one that’s been posted many times before. Great you’ve got broad shoulders.

Well I know some guys who bought the Scorpio and it's made in China but shoots good. or collect CZ rifles. find or should I say source an older number 1 or a 452 model . then you could buy a Cooey made in Canada . there are all kinds of them. the sky is the limit for now Brother.

Hey guys, I got a Ruger 10/22, just wondering is there any more .22LR gun recommend? Thank you!
if you want something more compact and lightweight, id recommend the chiappa little badger. ive had both the 22lr and 17hmr versions and they are great. pretty customizable if you have a 3d printer too. mounted a big vortex scope on the 17hmr and that thing can snipe grouse from pretty huge distances.

Bullseye has some very nice Diana carbon fiber heavy barrels on sale right now, I bought one recently and love it. As a bonus they are made in Germany, very good quality. $299.00

Some people on this thread are easily offended. The guy asked a simple gun question on a gun forum…

OP- CZ 457 or Tikka T1x are good quality, well featured, at decent prices and generally the go-to in bolt action rimfires. Ruger American or Savage would be good options too.
