Armalite AR180B Frequently Asked Questions, revised Dec. 26/07

The need for an Non-Restricted AR180 is diminishing. Unless it is sub-$1000, you might as well go XCR, ACR, etc.
It's has been so long, waiting, new rifles have been developed and released..........

The xcr, rfb, acr, etc are all over 2000$.

If the come back with something good between 1000 and 2000$ it would sell.

I'd disagree with that... if the 180's were in their original U.S. price point ($600). Although that is somewhat inflated here :)(), IMO it would still be a viable option as it's (or was) 1/2 the price of an XCR or RFB.
 
It looks like they might not be giving up on the AR-180b.

"The 180B is to be re-designed in 2011 and hopefully re-introduced in
2012. It will not have the polymer lower. No further information is
available at this time.

I really really hope this happens :)
 
i'm currently designing a floating forearm for my AR180 and will eventually like to offer them for sale. more to follow in a few months
