TAVOR

IWI work close with IDF, so they get the proper feedback to make a bottle gun!
You need to handle one to understand the "why".

Mr1 shoots awesome based on reviews, bolt release location isnt getting the best press but neither did tavors features at first, its light, accurate and highly maneuverable, and it feels nice to hold, exactly like holding my m4! Benelli makes a sweet firearm, anyone actually shot on? e

The Tavor in my mind is a jackofalltrades rifle.
-You can mount optics well
-It is super compact
-Takes AR mags (10rds+)
-Controls in the right spots

I think the VZ58 is the rifle I like the looks of the most.
I wish I had a closet full of 5 or 6 of these and a garage full of ammo.

I like the xcr. More accurate then the tavor from what I've read And the ergos are amazing. The only down side I see is the weight.

I can buy a CZ858 for a decent price with a heck of a lot of ammo before approaching the price of a Tavor. Yes, a Tavor is an incredible gun, but priced too much up there.

Well, you used to be able to buy a CZ858 for real cheap. Now you have to buy the more expensive CSA model. :(

Wow- you crazy CGN fellas have access to some pretty amazing rifles!! I would love a T97...but I'm a lefty shooter and they will probably never be imported into NZ. Oh well, I'll have to be happy with my suppressors.

Jealous!

I have the T97, and so far I am very impressed. Quality is well above my expectations, ergonomics aren't that bad with practice (not a Tavor by any means), and it seems to be reliable. Optics mounting and ergonomics will improve some with the T97.ca ftu and various other accessories in the future.

I own both, and while you're right... I can't help but add that in the last year, my XCR has never left the safe, and my Tavor has never not come with me to the range.
