My TD GA 9mm Carbine is the least reliable gun I have ever shot. I have never emptied a full mag without a malfunction. Great that it takes AR parts, is super simple take down and well built, but no last round hold open. Even if it ran 100%, I would have updated to a restricted option (with last round hold open) in the AR style.
My Ruger PCC has been flawless so far, but under 1k rounds still. I like it for NR, it's take-down-ability, and a more friendly look. One concern I have with the new AR style Ruger PCC, is that it appears to be a full wrap chassis, which, if like the Ruger SR22 became heavier than my fully dressed and loaded AR15.
I have a FX9 in my safe, which I do not own. It was bought used and I'm waiting for a friend to pick it up (I was just the middle man in the deal). I haven't had time to shoot it yet, but previous owner said it was 100% for him. I hope to get it out next week for a test run, before giving it up tp it's rightful owner.
My competition 9mm PCC is a PWS 9.5 inch and it has been 100% so far with 1300 rounds through it. It is restricted which is a draw back for some, but works for me. I dressed it exactly the same as my AR, with same stock, grip, sights, ambi-safety & sling points. The only noticeable difference is the barrel length. It also takes AR parts, including a Raptor Charging handle and pretty good trigger from the factory.
