With the anti-firearm sentiment coming out in C-42 and the latest drivel from Senator Celine Hervieux-Payette (click here to find out) we're going to be launching a campaign to educate people about modern sporting firearms.
The main point they seem to be hammering is that there is no hunting purpose for semi automatic firearms. We as the firearms community know better but we have to show people otherwise. We'll never convince the politicians to change their stance, and some even know better and still spew nonsense. So we're looking to educate voters, fence sitters, and hunters that may not support semi automatic actions.
To do this we require some visual support. Please post up your hunting photos that used ANY KIND of semi automatic action in a legal hunt (shotgun or rifle). We ask that the pics be semi tasteful so no blown off heads or anything as this is a touchy topic at best sometimes.
Don't know how to post up a pic? We accept them via PM or Email as well.
We know there are plenty of these pics on here that we can easily source but we won't use those without permission. By posting pics up here or sending them to us via PM or email you agree that you are giving us permission to use the pics in our educational campaign including but not limited to social media, videos, and linking the materials to online news sources, etc.
In case it needs to be said, we're pro hunting, pro black rifle, pro civilian ownership of firearms, and will use the pics and materials provided in a positive light.
Finally mods, please don't kick this into our paid forum if at all possible. We welcome all feedback and don't want the appearance of moderating peoples posts. Time is of the essence so we put this here for max exposure.
Post em up folks
.
EDIT: Video's live!
Thanks to everyone who contributed photos to this video. What we can use now to get the word out is members liking and sharing it by whatever means they can with either Facebook, YouTube, and whatever other sites you belong to.
We now have the video up, and while it took a little bit and had to be re-filmed it was worth the effort to give the video the justice it requires.
Part 5 of our educational series. In this episode we explore the reason to use semi automatic firearms for hunting.
We also give very recent examples of Senator in the Canadian government that would attempt to define a hunting rifle to a very narrow scope. Also how all three opposition parties (currently Liberal, Green, and NDP) plan to revive or form their own version of a long gun registry.
