Booked Another African Hunt

I do seem to have a surplus of boats at the moment...........Have a nice deep hull 16' alum with a 20 hr 50 hp Merc on it, that's 20 hrs from brand new 30 years ago. Just had it completely gone through and working 100%.........I would deliver...........

Will keep in mind, unfortunately looking to climb rivers. A merkel doesn't go far towards that kind of gear.

Do you accept bits of string?

Wound from gold, why the hell not.

Speaking of gold, I happen to have a heavy little pouch of that too.....................HHHHMMMMMMM.....forgot about that.........just checked, it's $1632/oz CAD, I think I just paid for my hunt.....HHHMMMMMMM :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

LOL....you've either got dementia,or too much money, or both, if you Forgot that you have a heavy pouch of gold....... :)

Enjoy the hunt!

No such thing as "TOO MUCH MONEY", well unless you're talking Bill Gates or Warren Buffet.........as far as dementia goes, who knows.........I always knew I had the gold and where it's stashed, it's just that I don't think about it sometimes for months. I regard it more as an asset than money........a very liquid asset, holding it for when anarchy hits and paper money and numbers on a bank statement are worthless. That's the day my 178 (and counting) guns and my gold just jumped tenfold in value. That's the day I become wealthier than Bill or Warren..........;);):d:d

The 9.3x300 would be cool. Africa prolly hasn't seen a 9.3 bullet move so fast.
The 375 you took your Mr fuzzy with should get first dibs to take his pretty little gf. If i was you it would be that rifle and I know you must have a nice sxs 12 ga for bird hunting. You did book additional days and if you tag your list quick wing shooting is often better and cheaper than entertaining the better half. Best of luck!

Ps what ever happened to that baboon hunt you had mentioned. I've been waiting for pics from that as well if you should be so kind as to share

Congrats for booking the hunt. Does RSA have a minimum caliber for dangerous game? If not, either the .300 or .340 would seem reasonable, but if it was me I'd take a .375 and figure I was set for anything. But to prevent that pretty .375 SAKO from being used as it was intended seems unkind . . . it'll sulk for weeks.

min. for DG in RSA and surrounding countries = .375

Wow. And I was upset when my wife wanted to use the front half of my garage lol. Either way best of luck on your journeys. Maybe try the go pro ideas of video taping the excitement

not in Namibia. it is energy and let s say a 300 wea mag met the mini doesnt mean it is good ...

Patrick, wasnt in RSA the act changed in may 2011 for all provinces with based on bullet weight and no more on caliber or was it never put in place?

ref is SAF104522 27th may 2011, from act 10 of 2004.

yours truly.

I'll be she's gonna want a camel ride.
One hump or two?

She rode a one humper in Egypt a few years back.........cured her from camel riding.......I however got along famously with my camel, which I nicknamed Ahab. We (Ahab and I) darted all over the Sahara and had a great time.....he only tried to bite me once where upon I promptly booted him square in the nose and that set the mood for the rest of the day........a little enforced respect goes a long where horses and camels are concerned.
