Sten gun in Korea
The Sten gun was issued to Canadian and the Brits, not very reliable, due to problems with the mags, a much better weapon was the Aussie "Owen" SMG, I don't know if Canadian troops used the "Owen Gun",but was sought after by the Brits, also our 9mm was not as potent as the "ChiCom"PPSH 41 smg in the 7.62mm pistol rd,our troops often complained of the range of this cartridge, lots of M1 and M2 carbine were acquired by the Canucks, often just for a few cases of Canadian Rye whiskey.Colin said:
