If I have to buy 3000$ handguns I will think twice, but 300$ gun....come one.....some people spend on a bar night 300$.
It depends from your income, but I'd say $300 is a negligible expense for that.

I don't think we'll see a handgun ban. For starts, there's about a million more of them out there than Blackrifles. Secondly, the liberals talked about banning AR's some time ago, with handguns they've never mentioned an outright ban, just central storage or giving municipalities more power of them. Both of those options are just silly. Given the sheer numbers of them, we'll either see a certain minimum safe requirement or grandfathering.
If you're too chicken to buy it, Trudeau's already won.

They're already well into a handgun ban. I don't recall the exact percentage they claimed, but .25, .32, and short barrelled handguns accounted for something like half of those legally owned by Canadians. Coming back for the rest is a relatively small step. The only questions are when, and exactly what the ban will look like. Maybe you'll be able to look at it (not use it) for 2 years before you have to give it up. There are so many possible variations it's pointless to speculate on the details until they're announced.
