Or a PPK .380 auto for hot summer days and probably a GLOCK 19.

Before I moved here when I first got my CCDW permit back home I packed a .380. Then a few years later I packed a Sig .40. ..I know, quite the extreme difference lol. But when it comes down to the brass tacks, both were compact regardless.

compact glock .45
Glock 36

"The G36 is easy-to-use, hard to see, and tough to face."
Well said

No buttons in the way, no safety that you forget on.
glocks are ugly but they are fine combat pistols.

Heh on my ccw fantasy I was looking really hard at a STI VIP in 45acp.

Dunno how reliable those things are though. Proprietary mags are another con.

I love my Sig P226R, in .40S&W. This would be my first choice. I especially like the de-cocking lever for those times when a round must be in the chamber. I also like the external hammer for accurate shots. I've shot hundreds of rounds with my P226R, and I have never expienced a FTF, FTL, FTE or any other kind of failure. I would depend my life on it.

being a big guy, baggy clothes, 2" 500 S&W, doubt you'd ever have to fire it, as soon as they see the size of the hole in the barrel I think you might get a wiff of what they dropped in their pants as they ran away...

otherwise I think a H&K P7 or a Sig P224 in .357SIG
