CDTSA Multigun *Complete. Score info and video on POST 127

Hey, great match guys. Thanks Jordan and Greg. Fun, fun, fun. Think I had the most fun on the shotgun stage but they were all good. Got to learn how to speed load a shotgun and get rid of my 10 shot mag for my .45. Well organized and went smoothly and even finished early. And that cute Brazilian gal was a breath of fresh air. Hope she shows up more often.

It was my 1st 3gun.

I had equipment fail, I had "operator error" fail...

And I had an absolute blast.

Great show guys, thanks for putting this on. Now excuse me while I go blow my daughter's inheritance on equipment upgrades...

Thanks Guys.
It was a lot of fun for me too. Think we are finding our groove. Also Special thanks to AirCav, he helped out a lot.
Getting harder to come up with the unique "Hooks". So if anyone has some crazy off the wall ideas let me know. (And yes, hanging off the wall is an idea)

I didn't even think of it, but you should have gave my 10rd a try. I had one with me but I have only tried it a few times. Otherwise just use the 8's.

Was a good day! Even the weather held out!

We occasionally do some shotgun drills that really help out with loading. Let me know if you are interested and we can show you the ins&outs

Also you can test out my CM power 10 mags, see if that does the trick (Same to you shibs)

Scores have been tabulated and submitted to CDTSA for upload to the website. (Keep an eye on the site)

Hey All,
We are still doing some tweaks to the stages but we have a rough idea on the round count. It will be similar to last Match. A little lighter on Rifle, a little heavier on pistol and shotgun.
~22 Rifle
~46 Shotgun
~41 Pistol

This is subject to change, but I don't think it will change by much.

There is nothing weird about this match other then shooting off your side. (Don't need slings or have to worry about mag retention.)
More to follow, just wanted to kick this off.

fmj not allowed ????? that is the first time ive ever heard such a thing in 3 gun. Why are you guys not doing uspsa or 3 gun nation rules ? There is alot of time invested and money to be a tac ops division 3 gun shooter. Either slap on a red dot on everything or dont use a red dot on anything seems to be a rather unusual rule,It goes against everything i know about 3 gun. Btw glock barrels cant use lead ammo as per the manufacturer.
Even though the shotgun box mag guys have an advantage seemingly, their mags jam so much that its almost a handicap lol. I can reload 6 as fast as a shotgun guy can reload a magazine and i can quad load faster than a shotgun mag reload. A skill that tac ops ( uspsa )/ practical shooters (3gun nation) work very hard to learn.

We talk a lot about the "whys" in this thread already.
Quick re-cap.
No FMJ because our plates are older and have lots of divets that cause some jacket to splash back cutting people. That is what club decision and should be argued at an AGM, not here please.

As for rules, we have very specific safety rules at our club due to location. Again, club decision, bring up AGM, I'm not in control of that.

Shotgun, again we tested on averages over a number of people with varying skill level. "Hoping for a jam" doesn't balance things out. That is why in major matches it is automatically bumped to open class.

Bottom line.... it is a fun shoot. The point is to bring what you want and blast away. When I debrief with everyone afterwards they are mostly all happy. So, come out, try it, and take'r easy.
