I agree with the sentiment that an M4 might be a bit much for a SHTF truck gun, but I do feel like in a SHTF situation you don't want to be relying on something cheap and hoping for the best.

Never seen a beat up Mav88 fail to work yet... And that's about as cheap as you can get.
