Crusader arms backland

You haven't been here long enough for me to care to present you with that evidence (All of which is very easily searchable on this website) nor have you been around to witness his long track record of pulling the rug out on customers to grand stand on that losers behalf. Before you spout off in support of stupidity, do your own due diligence and read about the person you're so quick to defend.
I’m not defending anyone, I’m just stating that the R9 wasn’t put on the market to make a quick buck, it was legal and non restricted when released until the Feds decided it was not for an invalid reason, I don’t own one and I don’t owe anything to JR and whatever he did in the past isn’t relevant here because I’m talking about a rifle that was legal when it came out and how the Feds screwed everyone who bought it over by changing their opinion on it.

good thing a rifle with an NR frt has never been banned before, right? ...
No never! Smart arse hahaha! Sure the Liberals could ban it later but if it’s going to be put on the market, it should at least not potentially be a variant of a very similar rifle that’s already prohibited since 2020, so Crusader should be verifying with an FRT that it’s non restricted so people don’t end up with another Crypto regardless of the Liberals maybe banning it at a later date, because in the case of the Crypto they didn’t get an FRT before selling it and then the Feds said “Nope this was always a prohibited firearm!” which means it was never legal to own and if you have one you’re screwed, no amnesty for you with that rifle. I know man, it’s been a f*cking rough 5 years for everyone.

won't be buying it due to questionable quality and uncertainty with what the RCMP wants to ban at the moment, but I've gotta give it to Crusader Arms for at least making something semi-auto in this incredibly hostile environment. Doesn't mean they're making quality firearms, but I appreciate them for at least coming up with new designs.

It appears to be a cute idea, but it needs to be a significant jump in quality and reliability from Crusader before I consider cute idea novelty for 2k

You must of had a minority experience. 80k+ T81s sold here in Canada and you’re the only one I’ve heard from who’s had a T81 explode. Twice. I had two of them and they ran great before selling. No bells and whistles but they were built like tanks.

This on the other hand has all the bells and whistles and is most likely built like an egg carton. I think you will soon find that this certainly isn’t “better quality or overall value than a T81”.

If you’ve ever handled another Spectre LTD (Crusader Arms) product then you should know better.
Crappy (sometimes almost laughable) machining, rushed to market designs that haven’t had proper testing, questionable finishing and anodizing, no customer support, no FRTs, all at inflated prices.
They don’t give a #### about QC, longevity or proper testing as they know they won’t be around long anyway.

Don’t get me wrong. Looks like a fun rifle. But way overpriced - even compared to their Crypto for the parts set - and looking at that bolt - horribly machined.

I’m not ####ting on Canadian innovation in the firearms market - I’m ####ting on companies taking advantage of the political situation to churn out pretty turds at over inflated prices.

I hope these will survive the bans, make it past 10k rounds, and set a precedent for new semi auto rifle design in Canada. Ideally with some refinement and a lowering of the price tag. I also hope to win the lottery one day too 🤷
Well I found out, and unfortunately my findings were against what I stated in my previous comment; will post pics later...

Tactical imports should have warrantied them for you if they failed
I’ve never heard of them blowing up either, just having crooked barrel/sight alignment and a couple cracked trunions
They were supposed to have been piggybacked off of military contract runs so you wouldn’t think they would be junk
Time will tell if these backlands will be any good or not, they are starting to ship out now so we should find out if they are decent enough out of the box once a few people get them
