Crusader arms backland

I think Crusader is just selling them like they are to keep the rifle looking more hunter style then tactical style to not draw unwanted attention which is a good thing
Looks like it’s pretty easy to swap stocks over so keeping the pistol grip as an optional accessory is a smart move
The other day I was disassembling an old Remington model 8 rifle to clean the decades of crud out of it and noticed that the bolt in it has the similar rat tail style end on it and a small action spring in a tube that’s at the end of the reciever so very similar to the backland
The model 8 was designed by JMB over a hundred years ago!

So I went to see this rifle in person, I am quite impressed with the fit & finish, the rifle is very light in the hand with a great balance, & the length of pull is nice as well.

Definitely going to be buying this.

G4C also has some beautiful SKS rifles in their store.

I have a question for the Backlands owners that I couldn't seem to find online. Is the barrel chrome lined? Ty.

A better disassembly/reassembly video.

I simply can’t believe anyone is buying these. Unreasonably expensive, terrible quality, and downright visually sickening. Absolutely rotten.

It will mostly be because in Canada your options are this or some Turkish guns along the same lines.

Our Liberal "betters" have banned anything more desirable.

The price seems high for sure, cant speak to the quality but I know that manufacturer has had issues previously but I actually kinda like how it looks.

Each to their own.
