CZ 455 Quality?

I am about to mount the same scope to my 455. Do you have any pictures showing the clearance? What rings did you go with?

Those are with the 11mm Leupold mediums.

Might be hard to see the clearance at the eyepiece from that view, but that is where you will have the least amount of clearance. At where the bolt handle is attached to the bolt body.

Just measured it and I'll admit it is 11mm. Not sure why the leupold rings (# 54234 11mm high) don't fit worth a crap. I found a spare set of them I had in the drawer and evened tryed them to refresh my memory. Same issues. Would not suggest these rings as the 3/8 worked without issue

Did you try flipping the loose dovetail clamping piece around on the ring base? My 11mm leupold rings were cockeyed too, until I realized that the piece that is tightened to the receiver dovetail with the Torx screw was upside down... Straight from the store that way too. It does seem to matter which way the orientation is.

Yep tryed that. Was a little better but still fit like crap

What do you guys like to use to bring that cheek weld up ? Leather maybe? Non perm? Don't wana ruin the stock... I may just get the tacticool stock and use the permanent tac pro riser... last resort though, haven't even shot the rifle already cant stand wiggling around trying to find the proper spot

What rifle/scope/rings combination do you have that requires a cheek riser?
I just mount my scope as low as I can in order to get a proper check weld. Here is one of my CZs; there is about 0.025 gap between the AO ring and the barrel and the bolt clears the eye piece sufficiently:

If you have rear sight to worry about, you could use a low power scope like VX rimfire that fits well behind the rear CZ sight and can be mounted very low as it has a small eye piece diameter (no bolt interference).

I put a tacpro on my CZ 455 pro varmint stock as it was needed. It really makes a world of difference. I run a tacpro on most my rifles (unless classics, or nice wood). The scope is a vxiii 3.5-10x50 with TPS med rings and a DIP rail. It couldn't be any lower at all without touching the barrel.
