DA50 .50BMG upper!!!???

Anything that interfaces with an AR upper is a restricted AR lower. Very interested to see how CanadaAmmo thinks they can get around this.

The claim is someone has already designed a single shot NR lower with no mag well. It is claimed to even have an FRT#. A bit of googling has come up with a few single shot AR lowers which are designed/built specifically for single-shot bolt action AR uppers.... But I can't find anything about their status in Canada.

Shortly after I first heard of this thing, I suggested to the guy behind it that there be some sort of "denial islands" (term borrowed from US law for semi auto conversions for beltfeds) be added to a DEDICATED lower to prevent an AR15 upper from joining.
I'm gonna take a close look at this over the weekend.

The lower was designed and built by ATRS 6 years ago for the use with ferrit uppers.
It involves some mods that the rcmp approved for use.

Few more pics of this beauty to add.

^^^Hey Chris! We gotta discuss commissions!

No, not really. If I hope to become a writer, I have to be independent.
I cannot be in anybodies back pocket...

So then ATRS should be able to make more of 'em?

1. ATRS should wade in on this discussion and make an offical comment on the availability of these lowers forthwith

2. If the lower is in fact NR, and a reasonable price, they need to start selling these as a package deal pronto.

^^^^^

I was meaning to ask this question at the gun show today, but they were all trying to explain to this fellow that a left side charging handle was not what make the MH NR.

I will say well done can am, I find this to be one of the better looking 50 bmg out there... no offense ment to anyone but I couldn't stand the look of the can star.

I don't even mind the empty magwell. Someone just need to figure a 50 bmg ammo older that clip in the magwell
