Daniel Defense AR vs Norinco

Anyone else have trouble with their oversized reloads in their DD rifle?

Anyone having problems with factory ammo not fitting in their DD rifle?

Spec is .355 and the .375 fit. But if you go to .378 and above they won't?

Spec is .355 and .396 still fit in the norc?!?!

You reloads are .020 to .041 over spec.

Yes! ^^

I bet that the DD accepts factory ammo just fine. Your .223 Dies are bagged out. The Chamber in The Nork is like throwing a hot dog down a hallway its so loose.
There's no bloody VS here!!!!

Yes! ^^

So the way out of spec rifle fires your way out of spec rounds and the brand new in spec rifle won't?

Hmm what a puzzling mystery. Where's scooby doo when you need him.

And Yes!!! ^^

Stop running reloads in your AR(regardless of brand) and then b*tching that the failures are caused by the rifle. Its a service rifle, and they're designed for FACTORY AMMO. Far too many factors here that involve HUMAN ERROR for the rifle to be the culprit right off the bat. Aside from ammo we have no idea how the user has modified the rifle if at all, how they clean and lubricate the rifle, if the rifle has some manufacturing defect. Whether or not the reloads were done with proper tolerances and/or materials. GO run the gun with factory ammo and proper lubrication. I bet it runs like a champ.

Sorry to pop your elitist bubble...but they do. Simple.

*I forgot that you and TDC are such operators overseas and all. Putting these firearms through the paces being doorkickers and all

Wait, are you saying Norinco Ar's are being used by professionals? Do tell which ones?

If reliability was a major concern the Norinco wins hands down, you can feed it any junk ammo and expect it to function.

Before we got our chronograph, we were erroring on the safe side, our loads were significantly underpowered and the Norc always went bang and always fed another round. It wouldn't always lock back on a dry magazine, but it always functioned and demonstrated more than satisfactory accuracy.

Some people want to hate the Norcs, but the fact remains they are the best value for your dollar and price point to functionality puts it worlds ahead of the competition.

Sometimes I hate cgn. If you own and respect high end gear you get s**t on by groups of penniless idiots trying to call you out (and make themsleves feel better about their s**t guns )for buying expensive weapons... I swear this must be the only enthusiast forum where you get called an elitist for buying and using the upper end of what everyone is supposed to be "enthused" about.

Sorry for the rant guys.

Nothing to be sorry about. Your post is right on.

Relax!this is all considered toys for us,(civi). expensive toy + cheap toy = toys (enjoy it)

You may see them as toys. I see them as tools. I like tools that work as designed and on demand.

But what if I scratch it....................I would just die!!!! ovrec

Some have issues with scratches and dings in their gear regardless of cost/value. I don't care as long as it continues to work.

WOW!

Are you going to be OK?

Go shoot your AR15, it'll make you feel better :D

How many other forums and there members have access to the wonderful and nicely priced 14.5" and 10.5" Norinco AR15's anyways? Not many I would guess, hence no ongoing debates there bub :ar15:
