Do you have unfounded hatred regarding certain firearms? I do

no hate, I don't have time for that.
but I have to give my head a shake at 'rich people' demeaning inexpensive firearms that work completely reliably, but only have lesser quality of finish... they probably own overpriced fancy cars too LOL.
I'd guess they send their guns to a gun smith to diagnose a dirty gun and their cars to a mechanic to change the oil LOL.
My advise get some tools and some 'know-how' or improvise and get the job done!
 
For all you Ned Flanders do gooder types here, that refuse to hate for various reasons, read between the lines.
The OP said "hate" but perhaps you could take it as things you'd never own or things that you think really suck.

I hate the fact that my hunting partners Axis 300 win mag out shot my WBY 7mm Mag this fall. He readily admits to his being the cheapest combination he could afford and my MARK V was a tad more pricey but at the end of the day, he filled his freezer first, not me.
Suffice to say, wanna guess who was out and threw a few down range before they went out this fall and who said " I was bang on when I put it away last fall, its all good".......That's right, I suck! lol
 
I don't hate any firearms....but I do hate when companies bump the price through the roof because they took some extra time to round off some corners. I would much prefer a firearm that is rough with tool marks that fires every time I pull the trigger and only cost me $500, than one that looks more pretty finished yet malfunctions and cost me 4 times as much.
 
I can't believe you have Never shot one. An ar15 that is. Go try one out. Are they over rated? Probably. Are they fun to shoot. Yes.

For me, the "unfounded" hate only has one rifle... The AR-15. Never owned one, never shot one. Sick to death of hearing about them. Old enough to remember when they were non-restricted, just another rifle, and they collected dust on the racks of gun store because no one was interested in them (and yet, Tiffany was quite popular back then, so not like people had better taste in the 80s).

I'm going to buy one eventually, so that I can use it and see for myself what the fuss is about. But I keep finding other stuff I'm actually interested in the absorb my gun budget.

I hate savage, Mossberg, norinco, howa, weatherby and Japanese made brownings and Winchesters. and short magnum cartridges. Except the .350 Remington magnum

If I'm super rich I will melt every SKS I come across and give the owner - choice of a) A nice 1911 b) A trip to Vegas best gentlemen's club c) a bottle of nice single malt. Or what the #### ever you want in similar value.

I'd do all that and waste my fortune just to melt as many sks as possible.
 
I hate Winchester guns, ammunition and anything else they might make on the side. Also Mossberg, jesus murphy give it up already I have never seen a mossberg gun of any sort new or old function properly.

You can't melt SKS though. In fact, if you place an SKS in a smelter, the smelter gets colder. Its just that bad ass of a gun.

I'll trade my sks for a 1911... on a side note, build a sks Iron Throne, like from Game of Thrones. Would be truly badass.
my only unfounded hate is that I have many guns I want, many of which are way more than I can afford
 
I hate guns that use a bent piece of thin metal as a mag release, Chinese sh#t, plastic "tactical" .22's, and bubba'd milsurps.

In all fairness I do own a mag fed shorty 12 gauge from the orient, but at least 870 parts will be easy to come by when it breaks.

Years ago I worked for S.I.R. and one of my jobs was to unpack SKS rifles and box them up for sale after a quick inspection to verify the serial numbers matched what we were shipped. I have handled 100`s or possibly over a 1000 of them, at the end of the day I would look and smell like a Russian tank mechanic from all the grease on them!
