I wouldn't go as far to say I'm a fanboy, but I do really like my Glocks. Simple, reliable, dependable, lightweight, eats anything you feed it. I think they look cool too. My only beef was with my G17 gen 4, after about a thousand rounds the tip broke off the MIM striker. But the dang thing still kept shooting. I replaced it with a stainless one from Lonewolf and never looked back. It's not the most comfortable pistol either.
To put it simply, if the SHTF and I had to flee with my family and could only take one gun, it'd be a 9mm Glock.
