Ducks Unlimited will be around long after the boys at TSE and Wolverine have taken your money and retired to Arizona or gone on permanent safari in Africa. DU will be giving back to the community and making a positive contribution to your hunting and shooting lifestyle for many more generations. You’d better hope so .
I'm not sure why you feel the need to attack small business owners in Canada in order to prop up Ducks Unlimited's credibility...... but I hope they will change their name to Ducks Limited and that their board member steps down from the Advisory Committee on Firearms.
Nothing wrong with strong principles..... but you can't have it both ways and then pretend it's all about principles. The tax status part seems like a fairly lame excuse to me. It could easily be argued that as a hunting/environmental group, hunting and the guns hunters use is relative. They should be pointing out the benefits of duck hunting with semi auto's not hiding in the background and stating their only concern is habitat.
If as they claim they can not get involved in politics and guns... the board member should have never agreed to get involved in politics and guns.
Gun owners are already under represented under this govt..... having a "lame duck" on the committee is shameful.
