Extended Rail for MR1??¿

I'M IN!!! I would definitely buy one of these rails from ATRS. I'll even make the drip from Edmonton to Calgary if I must. I'll contact my friend in Toronto to see if he wants one as well. If you say more, is cheaper, lets get the word out on the street.

This was my rail design-

I've run it for over a year now.

I made it overhang to make the eye-relief so i could use a elcan or trijicon type AR sight.

In the end if found that a conventional type scope mounted low gave me perfect cheek-weld!

(The scope does clear rail)

I will putting the same rail on my new one. Having the flat rail makes this gun way more ergonomic. Aside from losing the irons I found this to be a much better system.

furfaro/hit r' miss - I made the rails myself.

I have access to some decent equipment and have some know-how. I made the rails out of 7075 aluminum and had them hard anodized black. This gun doesn't need the extra weight of steel.

arc starter - The rail on that gun has a overhang as well. You can see that it projects just a small amount over (two tabs) over the receiver.

I have a couple of rails left over from my last project. They are new and never mounted. If anyone is interested in them please pm me.

Nice job!

Rails are done and available. Rick mounted one on my rifle this afternoon, nice job on these. Looks like it was always there, which it should have been. Thanks Rick for taking the time producing these. Well guys, time to buck-up and get this thing mounted. I think it's going to make a Hell of a difference.
