Firearms reform rumored release this week.

Hello. I would like to know what things which people can do to stop this from happening.

I know it's easy to assume negative views as we have a steep hill to fight, I would like to know what is effective method to resist this undemocratic law change.

Yes I understand that was your point. I suggested clarifying with the ATF because it seems strange to allow a Canadian visitor to posses a firearm but not a Canadian working on an H1B, and contrary to what the drafters of the legislation intended, but a situation that may have been overlooked. However the case you describe may well be the law. Best thing to do is check with the ATF

LoL @ the people still talking about letters and calling MP’s. That ship has sailed, blocking trains and highways is a more appropriate response to the threat level.

When you buy a NR rifle in/from a retail outlet and your name and info goes in their “book” can that be used as a form of tracking them down, sorta like a registry? I never understood this.

Also is there anybody in the GTA planning some kind of legal protest of gathering of some sort?
I just can t believe the crap that is happening right now, I’m not giving them a damn thing, none of us should. These guys are freakin criminals!!
How does a minority government pull off this dictatorship BS??
We gotta do something, we can’t let this happen, I can’t except this right now, it’s overwhelming, our freedom is getting shredded day by day........

Only if they give the info to rcmp, or if they go out of business. Even then, they only have a record that you purchased that firearm on that date. For all they know, you could have sold it to another pal holder any day since then. you are not a business and are not required to keep records.
