80k IIRC, gun still works fine
Nice!!! If I could find time to shoot 1000 -2000 per year right now I would be happy.

No, this is just something I was told at a store and I'm too new to know if it's right. Part of what I am trying to do is educate myself on all the components, slang, nomenclature etc that I need to know. He may have said recoil spring and I am repeating it wrong.
I clean it around 500 rds or when I'm in the mood.. it never FTF's but I bet you could shoot a 1,000 and it would still function fine
Feed ramp is just a pain to clean if left longer then 500 rounds.
I'm in the same boatThe more of these posts I see the odder I think I am... I clean my guns after EVERY range trip, if it got fired, even one mag, it gets cleaned..
Then I took a 2 day class that was a little more combat oriented and it was pretty much shooting all day for 2 days straight and I didn't clean it at lunchtime or before I took it to day 2.
I'm curious what course you took and if you would recommend it?
This exactly. My shadow is a couple years old and just breaking in nicely at 30 000 rounds. Feed ramp is just a pain to clean if left longer then 500 rounds.
Silvercore Level 2. I would definitely recommend it. Class of 6 and we learned a bunch and had a ton of fun. Everyone was super happy.
If you like it you will be sold on Slavex doing the Skills & Drills as it's pretty much something I plan to do weekly for the foreseeable future so long as he will have me.
