Glock 19X - Why So Many For Sale?

I personally was never a glock fan, never hated them either... just didnt see the fan boy appeal like others. What I can say after shooting the 19X.... immediate dislike. One simple cosmetic thing did this for me... the grip.
It felt too much like a 2x4. I know this can be changed etc etc.... I just now know how much I appreciate the older models for having those nice grooved grips. Everything else I found to be right on par with the usual glock standard.

I was instantly turned off from them as soon as I seen the grip design prevented the use of Gen 5 magazines.

The 19X was a gimmick gun since the beginning, not really something useful for the average consumer. Especially with that annoying notch on the front of the magwell which prevented the use of new Glock mags. I think this recent trend of people dumping them shows this clearly.

I would have bought a 19X if my 17 Gen 5 mags would have fit, but they don't so I won't.

Yep. One of the major reasons I wasn't interested also.

nothing a $3 piece of gen 4 floor can fix ....

19X was intended to be a service pistol for the US Army but they adopted the Sig P320. Anyone considering a 19X for CCW doesn't understand the basic of CCW. CZ p07 should be compared to a real Glock 19.

in the states some are CCW with 19x not everyody is shaped the same or using the same technique for ccw ... i used to open carry for 3 years a 1911 and i ve read here i cant it is too heavy ...

A sig 320, even a m and p is a better gun, my 19x brass to the face, 4 other glocks no problem? Glocks maybe had their heyday lots of other manufacturers have caught up?

Regularly moderating ads on the EE.... Noticed a lot of Glock Model 19X's posted for sale....

Curious minds want to know why?

NAA.
