i agree, the point is the reliability of the guns. I would put a Stock Glock up against anything out there. In the hands of any man or woman with a firm handshake, it would clobber all.
one thing i will say as far as reliability. I have shot a 92fs as much as a GLock 17. No failures. There are guns for sure as reliable as Glock, but just not quite as reliable in the end. The beretta, is less prone to limp wristing as well, but its a bigger heavy gun. I also haven't tried the .40 or 45 cal versions.
I agree...to a point. The gun is ONLY as good as the user as the user is REQUIRED to make the gun work...if they cannot shoot without limp wristing it, then the gun is "failing"...its a controllable failing and one that is reversible but a failing non the less.
If the user is limp wristing, the likelihood of them making good hits in even poor times, is close to zero. Limp wristing is entirely user error. Complaining that a Glock is "more prone" to it, is akin to complaining that your car is difficult to drive from the backseat.

i would hope not, but who knows. i have not met a Glock that will not shoot for me. Everyone that i have owned has shot with zero malfucntions, so when i hear of one i have to take it with a grain of salt. Id love to try the ops Glock, I have no doubt it would work.
Unless he has a lemon, but thats it. Its either a lemon, user error or bad ammo. Other then that they just work period.
Recently i asked Hickok45 how many rounds has he put threw his glocks before he had to replace parts, etc...
This is his answer:
"Gosh, I go years without changing the recoil spring. Then one day after several years, I'll just order three or four for the ones I shoot the most. I have not idea how many rounds they are good for; they never seem to wear out. Since they don't cost much, I go ahead and replace them, though, except it's very rarely."

yes you can call me a Glock Fan boy if you will. But the difference being, im using my own experience, not just what i read on the net. As stated earlier i have owned lots of glocks, shot lots of glocks, but then decided to try all the other stuff out there, and i went back to glock. Its simply the best imo.
That is incorrect...or nobody should have issue, EVER.
Anyone can train for something...seen some crazy videos online of ladies shoving all sorts of large, crazy and unusual things inside themselves...doesn't mean it normal because it will eventually become comfortable and normal after "training".
Why use a Glock...if you do not like the fit/feel right off the bat compared to something else? What advantage are you getting forcing yourself to do this? Everyone is not made equal when it comes to their hand size/strength and personal preferences of what "feels and works" right.
One thing Glock guys never get...its OKAY if someone else doesn't shoot a Glock, millions do every day and do so JUST FINE!!! Take a breath, go for a walk...and wash your Glock shirt...you've worn it for 6 days in a row now...
I think this holds true with almost any brand/make...they say change it every X amount of rounds, which is a pre-mature round count to cover their butts!!!
not liking the feel is ok. condemning the gun cause of ergonomics and saying you cant shoot it because of that, is bull####.
i agree shoot what you will, but what happens is guys slam a product cause they dont give it time. If you cannot shoot a glock your lacking, its not the gun. If you can shoot a glock and still dont like it, then fine move on. As you can see i have shot all kinds, i think the 92fs is equal to the glock 17 imo.

I do...and believe it or not, not all of them shoot or use Glocks, most acknowledge them...never said they are a "bad" design but some prefer other makes and models. There are 1911 guys, HK guys, XD guys, Sig guys and even wheel gun guys still!!!

I HATE the feel of the Glock...it sucks for me to the point of distraction, I like my HK45, it fits my hands, I like the finger groves, I like the grip texture and the amount of it I like the slimness and it can be adjustable in the back strap size. The controls are full sized (if we are only taking STOCK here as anything can be customized to the point of transformation) and easy to reach and I much, much prefer the European style magazine release which is again sized correctly and ambidextious. I like SA/DA and many many other reasons are THE reasons why I dished out and paid 2x the price of a Glock 21 for it.
Glock gen 4...was a good step in the ergos for me...but they ####ed up with the reliably which is/was their good selling point. Maybe gen 5 will be the one I buy?
