Yes he was on vacation....enjoying time away and outdoors with family, I spend too much time in front of a computer as it is....but I'm back now. Also I don't monitor all the forums to see if people are talking about Wolverine, so until someone else points it out to me, I don't always know there is a major catastrophe.
First off I would like to thank you for bringing this video to my attention, that will teach me for not viewing the final "cut" all the way to the end before saying it was good to go up. This one is indeed a take that had some malfunctions caused by some poor quality non-brand 12 gauge ammo. The rims on it were slightly undersized and allowed some of the rounds to push past the stop on the loading block, jamming the shotgun and flipping up the cover. Once we changed out the ammo for some Score and Federal (I think the second brand was federal) we had no issues what so ever, and somewhere there is the proper ending to show it, but no idea where it might be now.
If you are asking why I continued to carry on instead of stopping when we had the jam, it was for my own purpose. None of these videos are scripted and I wing them as I go along, so I just carried on at that point to try out an ending and see how it sounded etc. At the end of the day, it is completely my fault this video got put up with the wrong ending on it, as I didn't watch it all the way through. It wasn't an attempt to "snow the masses". Mistakes happen, but if you want to believe otherwise that is your call, everyone needs something to make them feel good.
I do take offense to the comments saying that a sale is more important than the truth. I don't get paid commission, I get paid the same whether we sell one or two hundred. I certainly do not get asked to lie by Mr. Wolverine to make a product look better. That would not be condoned and certainly not what Wolverine has built their business on.
Anyone who has followed me on here since I started with wolverine knows full well that I will say flat out if I don't like something or if I feel something is subpar, regardless of whether we are the importers for not for it.
The new versions (Gen4) of these shotguns work very, very well and there is no problem firing them from the hip or one handed etc (I guess I'll have to fire up another video to show that). The demand for these shotguns is at an all time high now and we are getting incredibly good feedback from dealers and end users. They are even being evaluated by police and the military. As I have always said, they aren't for everyone, but they sure as hell as a lot of fun and with the lower price these days, it makes them even more attractive.
