I like "Auto"... I can hear it now come Auto, good boy....

Auto short for automatic.

A few I've hunted over:

Tar, Blue, Raven, Orvis, Chester ( Winchester ), Jess, Burt,
Teal, Brant, Jake & Ike.

I' d try to keep it short, and nothing that rhymed with Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Back or Over.

Oh, yeah... I forgot, Sprig ("Pintail" ) and Smoke ( owned by a NASCAR fan )

Hunted in the US with a guy who had a Border Collie(pet, he had Walker's for hunting dogs).It's name was Wilson. Always thought that was a unique and cool name

How about "Nelson" as in Admiral Nelson. I once had a springer named Parker. Guess what kind of gun I used.

All my lab names have been Harley, Oakley and now the newest is Jake

Look's like a "Jasper" to me.

My old lab is 10 years old now. Jasper sounds pretty cool when hollered at the top of your lungs when he piddles on the wife's petunias for the bazillionth time. He knows it's wrong, but he just can't resist evening things up for me.

This ones official name is "Someday's Wilson Your a Hoot" .Wilson for short.












And this one's official name is "Someday's Murphy's Law". Murphy for short.
