I don't see anyone posing as the all knowing, supreme, marksman-god - except you, maybe. No offense, but your poser comments are childish and immature. Instead of following the masses and accepting the status quo in design, some like to "make it their own" and customize it. So what? No big deal. If you don't approve - pound sand! :jerkit:

Personally, I'd like to see what other people are doing. Keep the mods coming!

I'm not picking on you, I'm just making sure that your cosmetic mods(which do look nice) will do nothing for ones skills. Just so everyone else wanting to mod their Glocks understands that. Keep shooting that Glock.

I added a KKM barrel to mine and a LaserMAXX slide return laser. Last but not least, a Surefire C300 LED weapon light.

I prefer the GLOCK barrel for reliability, I have noticed the KKM doesn't feed as reliably. I thought about the diconnector too but because of the GLOCK safe action, opted not too. (safety is all, with a new disconnector I'm told I can go to a 3.5Lbs trigger pull vs the standard 8-10)

Almost forgot the Tru-Glo Tritium/Fiber Optic sights, really nice and not too much

All those "upgrades" are useless SH*T....no offense. The ultimate Glock 22 package is as following and nothing more.

Factory GLOCK 22 .40
Factory night sights
Streamlight M3X Tactical Illuminator
Houge rubber sleeve grip (if needed)

DONE!...everything else is tacky garbage.

we do things to our guns to make them unique. how many G22s did glock produce in 2008? how can i make mine look different.

these are toys, im not a ####ing merchant of war. i dont rely on my G22 to save my life, i take it to the range and play with it.

Well said Voodoo, I am unsure why people think their opinion is law? If you want to customize your gun then do it. It is not my cup of tea but it isn't my gun so that is that.

I love a great looking gun but if it doesn't shoot then its junk, I like my guns to look good too but it sounds like the upgrades you want to do shouldn't effect its shooting ability so get this show on the road and post some pics of what you have done when you get to it.

well after getting my hands on a 4th gen G22 i will NOT be stippling my grips. houge slip on for the win in that department

next up is the slide release and the mag release. to each his own but i have fat fingers and the stock slide release is near impossible to hit comfortably, and the mag release is decent but the shape of my hand and where my fdingers land make it difficult to pop easily

im considering doing the chrome package, pins, backstrap plate thingy, aluminum mag release and slide release kits..

ill post pics after i get the gun in stock form, than ill blast some rounds through it and go from there

So your Glock is a toy. No issue with that, just don't start talking sh*t about how your accessories or mods are "good for reason X or situation y".

I'm not sure I like the chrome, I kinda like the black on black better. :)

Maybe it just looks better in real life. Also, maybe a chrome slide would really compliment it, I don't know for sure, just kinda thinking aloud.

BTW, I think we have the same countertop
 
TDC - it's people like you that divide the shooting community. You seem to act like your a shooting god or something, mind posting a video of you shooting a match or instructing a class of police/military?

I'm not saying this to start a fight, I just despise people like you that attack what other do to their legally owned guns.
Me personally, I don't care what someone does to their gun, it's theirs isn't it? As long as they are being safe that's all that counts to me.

To be honest the pics do no justice for the adds, they look so much better in real life... It brings some nice contrast into it. They definitely don't look tacky, that much I can tell you.... ;)
