HERA GCC SMG kit

well Im not selling my TP9 anytime soon, but the idea of a 3.5llb glock trigger and 10 round magazines (in adundance) make for a great idea. Anyhow .. Im not holding my breathe on this one ...

Yup I hear you .. people love to whine about this and that ..others just get the gear.

Im sure that there would be a market for these IMHO.

Well I am going to look for one this summer, I have a dozen or so 33 round Glock 18 mags that need a host :D

Here is the price list

The price I have from Hera-Arms dated 20.03.09, which I think came from Hoffman shows a MSRP of $419.00 US and our cost is 251.05 Euro. That leaves us $46 Canadian dollars to cover the cost of importation and shipping. That makes for a non existent dealer discount and a few pennies for profit which would disappear the first time there was a warranty claim.

Profit is not a dirty word, with no profit we would starve. As I said, this does not look promising right now.

I can tell you that I'd buy one of these if the price was at or around 600$ CND or so. Pretty darn nifty. I can't resist. Is it possible to "special order" a few if people pre-pay or something?

wouldn't be a bullpup stock because it doesn't re-position the receiver to shorten the overall length of the firearm. In fact it makes it longer.... and it doesnt appear to fold.

On the same design as the FAB Glock Stock

Had a look at the website photos.
It would be an interesting project to make something like this. Either aluminum channels assembled clam shell fashion with a vertical joint, or a U section, with the pistol inserted from the bottom.
A 1911 type might be easiest. One pin/screw through the slide lock hole, another replacing the safety shaft.
I wondered about the bullpup thing, thinking about the HiPoint carbine classification. I carefully read the regulation, and I very much doubt that it would apply. The magazine is behind the trigger, but there is no significant portion of the action behind the grip. And the stock unit in no way shortens the firearm. The opposite is the case. Basically it is a pistol stock with provision for mounting a sighting unit.

I was able to try one of these at the range today. I won't say who it belongs to, I'll leave that to him or her if they want, but I can say that it is really cool and fun to shoot. I wasn't really sold on the idea, but now that I have tried it, I actually think it is a great idea. Feels very solid. Not some cheap thing that just covers up a GLOCK. Could breath a lot of life, and hours of fun, into your GLOCK 17 or 22.

That thing was amazing looking Ghostie.

Assuming that was you giving it a go as I was packing up the M14.

I'd love to get my hands on one :)

Great work. thanks for posting.

Aside from whining about the price. I can see how this would be a very versatile attachment for a Glock.
