how many .22's do you own? And why? (hunting/Collecting etc..)

Springers just cannot compete with PCPs.

I will not pest with my springers and in fact will not use anything less than a 25.4 grain .25 pellet, as .177 is an ice pick and shots can go wrong while that pellet is on it's way.

This is my .25 Condor I built with a Lothar barrel, shoots up to 70 grain cast slugs, but JSB 25.4 grain works well on mosts pests. :)
Very nice. I bought the first Condor that was imported many years ago by a dealer around North Battleford. It's currently using CO2 which isn't too bad, but nothing like high pressure air.

Thanks, dollar was at par, so 650.00 for the rifle 200.00 for the. 25 barrel, scope and other parts I had.

So well over 1200.00, but it is a hammer, with my longest lasered gopher killvin. 25 being 144 yards!

Just wondering how many of you have more than enough or not enough rimfires in your safes. I currently have 3, used mostly for hunting /target shooting and I guess for a little bit of novelty!!
2- Remington 597 (camo synthetic, Laminated stainless)
1-Savage Mark II-G.

In .22 I have: Benjamin pellet gun with scope, older Remington bolt action with scope, new Mossberg American semi auto with scope. Sold old Cooey single shot with an old .177 package.

added some Marlins to the collection,a model 99 from 1959 before they became the Model 60.a model 600,which is a fancier version of the 60 made for a large US supplier, also got a Browning T-Bolt made in Belgium in the 60's,straight pull is very different to get used to,so the addiction continues,

added a couple more Brownings.a BL-22 regular and a BL-22 Micro Midas, really like the finish of Brownings.a couple old Toz Russians with the weird large muzzle.,,the collection continues,

I'll play CZ 512 tactical for plinking, and squirrel hunting, Remington model 6 breach loader from my father, Cooey model 600 "rabbit stock" cooey model 87 with super old 4x scope again from my father, sure shot 22 (Cooey made for Sears I think) father in law had it in his shed and told me if I can fix it I can keep it. Remington 597 my first .22 I bought for plinking and small game.

1. Lakefield Mk II bolt .22 LR
2. Ruger SR-22 .22 LR Semi.
3. Henry lever .22 S/L/LR
4. Winchester 1906 Take Down Pump action .22 S/L/LR.
5. ISSC MK22 Scar .22 LR Semi.
6. GSG STG-44 .22 LR Semi.
7. GSG MP-40 .22 LR Semi.
8. Pietta PPS-50 .22 LR Semi
I also own around 20 air rifles in .22 cal. All requiring a PAL to own.

I'm former army, and did the whole cadets, reserves, then transfer to Regular forces thing, so it's in the blood to shoot and keep up my training. I learned to shoot at age 9 and have been target shooting ever since. I shoot nearly every single day. So I require cheap ammo to shoot tens of thousands of rounds a year. It's also why I own so many high power air rifles. Gotta have a hobby. Mine is nailing steel and paper as often as possible.
