Hunting with black rifles and semis. Who here does?

Ive only ever used black rifles for hunting, RFB, SU-16's, T-97, XCR-L, Modern Hunter, sub-2000, 700 tac, never did get the tavor out though. I took the ruger American ranch out one time but does a 16" barrel disqualify it as a hunting rifle? Down to just the MH, sub, RFB and ruger these days, getting all nostalgic about the old guns and the good times in the bush.

As much as I do not like semi's (extreme cold weather up here often leads to malfuntions, even when clean and dry, and dry-lubed) I shot my biggest moose with a Remington 742 in .308win. It doubled the shot on me, and I never took another one afield again. (malfunctioned and shot 2 in succession with one trigger pull)

The NEA 102 is no lightweight. Not a sheep, goat or steep country blacktail rifle, for sure.

I would take mine sheep/goat hunting for sure but then again I usually take my Sendero.

I'll be taking my new WR762 out deer hunting this fall. I have enough deer rifles more suited for hunting but this one is coming out just because...
I picked up some SP ammo at SFRC the other day so I'm good to go. It will have to be with iron sights unless I can get a scope mount for a red dot.

Tavor X95 for Coyotes. Even got one with the Beretta CX4 storm pretty close up.

I've shot quite a few wolves and coyotes with my Benelli MR1, though some wouldn't consider that a black rifle. I've tried a Tavor and KSG but they're just too damn loud. I don't use hearing protection when hunting.

Certainly is a black rifle - just with weird ergos. That being said, the one that I owned would should like a laser gun! A little fussy with magazines though. Excellent coyote rig.
