I love my GSG 1911 in 22lr!!!

I realy like mine to and planning on doing some upgrades on it.
I am also looking for the fake can if anyone has one and wants to sell it send me a pm.:)

I just got back from shooting my GSG tactical and love it. Fired 550 rounds without too much trouble. I had a few feeding issues with Remington yellow jackets. Winchester super x were pretty good. It seemed to like Remington Thunderbolts the best out of what I tried. I'll probably try a few more kinds to see what works best but I know the YJ are staying in storage for my 10/22 and gopher season :)

Not to hijack the thread, right now I'm looking at finding a compatible, fully adjustable (windage/elevation) Novak-cut-type rear-sight. I'm not very comfortable with the present rear-sight setup.
I love the gun. Love the feel and even the factory grips are beautiful. (I'm looking for front grip finger grooves.)

I picked up a tactical model from Blue line. I was suprized at quality and function. The pistol cycled all cheap bulk ammo I ran through it. The fake can is silly. Rail is ok, but you need a special holster. I never been a 1911 fan. Now I'm considering buying one in .45. Service at blue line sucked. I had to wait several extra days because they couldn't access their own safe. Not knocking the younger staff. The owner needs to square that issue away.

Shot mine this morning from a sandbag rest trying to get a feel for it.
Shot without a hitch, Blazers, Winchester Super X Hollow Point High Velocity and
Remington Hyper velocity Yellow jacket Hollow Point all using the medium height front sight that came installed.
It shot a bit high.
So I decided to try the higher (tallest) front sight and guess what? That minuscule Allen key was not in the plastic bag that came with the gun.
Blue-line (although I bought from DLASK) contacted and they're mailing me one free of charge.
Great service. Response on a Saturday.

Dear Jamiejaf,

I would like to apologize for that delay. The reason only a few people have access to the safe is because we have controlled goods in the back. So in order for the staff to have access they have to be registered with controlled goods. The manger was away at the shot show and he was gone for a few days so it made us fall behind on some of the paper work and shipping. We process the orders in the order we receive them.

Best regards,
Scott

500 rounds through my GSG, no issues whatsoever. Copper plated is much cleaner than the lead round nose, so I'm going to try to shoot the copper plated from now on. What a fun gun! Everyone who's shot it, loves it! I'm impressed.

Any other large bulk packs come with copper plated .22lr besides Federal?

Once a while, Cantire or walmart will have winchester dyna point, I tried both. The walmart white box dyna point very accuracy with my daughter bolt action and burn reasonable clean, the Can-tire dyna point Gt burn very dirty and is not as good as federal bulk pack.
